Chief Executive Officer of the iProperty Group, Shaun Di Gregorio said that in a year-to-date, the portal saw a 780% increase in the number of mobile users and a 20% increase in unique visitors to the site. In addition, the portal also reported a 56% increase in leads generated for its customers.

Di Gregorio added that compared to September 2011, internal data has shown a 780% increase in the number of property buyers and investors who have utilised the mobile platform, be it on the iPhone, iPad, Android and Symbian apps, which were designed to enable consumers to have the convenience to search for properties with greater ease.

The number of unique visitors to iProperty.com Malaysia also reached a historic high of 1,200,000 consumers visiting the site to search for their dream home or next property investment.
This record breaking number represents a 20% increase in visits over the same month in 2011.

These statistics coupled with the number of property enquiries sent to real estate agents and property developers from iProperty.com Malaysia by property buyers and investors reflects that the love affair for Malaysian property continues, despite speculation of a market slowdown. The website sent a total of 350,000 property enquiries via email, SMS and phone calls to agents and developers in September 2012, a 56% increase from same month in 2011.
