TruckPro and The Schunck Group, an insurance provider are working together. TruckPro is an online recruitment platform for drivers and freight forwarders.
These same forwarders and carriers are finding it more difficult to find suitable personnel for their jobs. High staff turnover in the transportation and logistics industry shows that the drivers have a hard time locating the best operations for themselves, according to the insurance company.
The Schunk Group is countering this by helping TruckPro by building a bridge between the small pool of drivers with drivers who are dissatisfied with their current work.
JobMatchMe, a startup created by the platforms truck-pro.eu – which works with forwarding agents – and truck-jobs.de – which works with the drivers – will improve and simplify the search for qualified drivers as well as the search for the right employers for both sides during this time of a shortage in drivers. Freight Forwards and truck drivers alike will be brought together by the platform’s intelligent matching algorithm.
“With TruckPro we offer professional applicant management, especially for the sensitive transport market. Using algorithms, we bring the right drivers together with the right companies,” explains Managing Director of TruckPro’s mother JobMatchMe, Daniel Stancke. Users will also be asked about which properties are important to them as new employers. It creates easier work and decisive competitive advantages.
“The cooperation between the Schunck Group and TruckPro enables us to give these added value directly to our customers,” adds Thomas Wicke, the Managing Director of the Schunck Group. Users of the Schunk Group’s platform get services of the TruckPro with preferential terms.
“In return, we support the start-up with our extensive network in the industry,” says Wicke.
