Securex and NextConomy have joined forces through a new partnership in which Securex will share high-quality and relevant insights with Belgian freelancers and self-employed people via the NextConomy knowledge platform. The emphasis will be on two recent initiatives from Securex: Total Workforce and The House of Entrepreneurs.

Securex has held a leading role in shaping and realizing solutions for "the future of work". Securex focuses on markets that are moving in social and HR terms - freelance markets included. The company found a logical partner in the NextConomy knowledge platform, which was established in June 2017 to connect the worlds of clients and freelancers.

“We believe that every active person on the labor market must be given the opportunity to take their career into their own hands," says Patrick Lootens, Director of Innovation at Securex. "We want to make work smarter. We bundle our innovative solutions under the name Employment as a Service. Together with Nextconomy, Securex wants to facilitate the world of freelancers and the self-employed. Because it is completely in line with our ambition: Employment as a Service. By combining studies, best practices and insights, we chart trends. These trends are the basis for formulating the right advice on how self-employed people and companies can best move in the new world of work.”

Total Workforce and The House of Entrepreneurs

Through NextConomy, Securex will mainly share insights about two recent Securex initiatives in the field of co-creation with innovative companies or startups, with which they shape the future of working together. One is Total Workforce, focused on how does an organization deal with different talents and employment contracts within a company. The second initiative is The House of Entrepreneurs: a renewed support for the self-employed and freelancers alike where Securex takes maximum care of their professional administration. Lastly, Securex is looking to bring its instrument for calculating the cost of work through this partnership with NextConomy to clients.

“With NextConomy we strive to bring knowledge and insights about the new world of work," says Marleen Deleu, Director of Trends and Innovations at NextConomy. "To build up knowledge, Securex works together with various knowledge institutions, such as the universities of Liège, Leuven and Ghent. In addition, they also actively look for co-creation with innovative companies or startups, to shape the future of working together. All things that we would like to inform about at NextConomy, and that fit in nicely with our mission. We are therefore delighted with this new partnership!”
