The Haitian-based technology startup SevisPlus is the new online marketplace implemented so that any user can acquire the services of freelancers and businesses on a global scale.
The services are available as listings with fixed prices and are related to a variety of categories such as: Design, Marketing, Business, Writing and Translation, Consulting, Legal, Audio & Video, Customer Service, Support, and more. The following are part of the features that differentiate this platform from the competition:
1 – Subscriptions Services:
Users have the ability to pay a subscription price to have access to a service over time. SevisPlus wants to bring convenience to the digital services market. According to Berthony Delalue, founder of the venture, “Automated billing and payment processing makes life easier for everyone. Life is hard, payments doesn’t have to be.”
2 – Free Services:
The marketplace allows sellers to offer free services. When asked about why a service marketplace would offer a free service model, Berthony’s answer was clear:
“It’s not okay to work for free 98% of the time, but occasionally offering free services is an important tool in many industries. Our market research shows us that some businesses and freelancers are willing to work for free for different reasons: a great cause, a free trial, to establish customer trust, and more. We are just ensuring that the process is smart enough, mutually beneficial, and won’t hurt the marketplace.”
3 – An Attractive Referral Program:
Website owners and bloggers who are enrolled in this program can create links via a customizable widget, and when someone clicks through those links and buys services from SevisPlus, they earn a referral fee.
4 – Multi-currency and multilingual support:
Doing business globally requires a platform to be adaptive to user’s locations. The platform supports 4 languages (English, French, Haitian Creole and Spanish) and more than 130 currencies.
“We are launching our beta on July 23, we saw a considerable interest by the number of pre-registered users we have. I know why people are so excited and we are working hard to exceed their expectations,” added Berthony.
