ShweProperty.com, one of Myanmar’s largest online real estate groups, has launched the country’s first major property show at its retail epicentre: Myanmar Plaza.
The business is a 3.0 property portal company that follows the transaction through offline closing processes with qualified sales professionals similar to brands such as Century 21, REMAX, or KW Realty.
The ShweProperty EXPO targets Myanmar’s best developers and was held at the largest commercial and retail development in the country: Myanmar Plaza, featuring top developments from across the nation.
Kevin Goos, the managing director of ShweProperty, said the event was an overwhelming success.
“During the three-day event, we presented 350 projects to 30,000 + visitors, with over 120 property transactions, valued at 10.2 million USD, with pre-approved home loans on 11 projects that all sold out, ” Goos said.
“Sales and property transactions at the ShweProperty EXPO were fantastic, and cemented our number one position in the market. We found this prime venue to be sensational and we are really happy to have Myanmar Plaza as another exclusive partner,” he said.
Goos added that the number of banks now interested in moving into the emerging home loan space for new developments has increased.
“We are really thankful to our banking partners for having their mortgage teams participating and expressing strong interest in providing home loans to buyers,” he said.
“A lot of our clients are first time home buyers, which are newly-wed couples, successful business owners, and new families. Having buyer-end financing on approved projects really takes the stress out of that part of their journey.”
The portal’s CEO Justin Sway echoed Goos’ sentiment.
“We are excited about the success of ShweProperty and the close partnerships we have developed with all the largest developers and biggest Banks in Myanmar,” Sway said. “It’s a real testament to our business model and the strong brand we have created.”
