The online job search platform Snag (based in Richmond and formerly known as Snagajob) has recently declared a new CEO.
Fabio Rosati, a tech industry entrepreneur who has been a member of Snag’s board of directors since early 2017, will become its CEO. He succeeds Peter Harrison, who has been CEO since 2013 and will remain in an advisory role with the company.
Rosati is best known for having led Elance, an online, freelance work platform for skilled workers that later changed its name to Upwork. Rosati was the California-based company’s CEO from 2001 to 2015, as it grew to have 14 million users in 180 countries and more than $1 billion in annual billings.
