Massive staffing firm Adecco Group has recently acquired New York-based Vettery for an undisclosed sum of money. The price was said by an unnamed source to be over $100 million.
“The acquisition of Vettery accelerates the development of the Adecco Group’s digital strategy, broadening our offering into the fast-growing digital permanent recruitment market and complementing our professional recruitment businesses,” the Adecco Group CEO Alain Dehaze said.
Currently, Vettery has over 4,000 employers and candidates vying for each other’s attention on the site. The company mostly focuses on IT and sales jobs, and has grown drastically since its opening in 2014.
Brett Adcock and Adam Goldstein, founders of Vettery, will continue to run the company from Adecco Group’s end. They will report to Adecco’s regional head of North America, UK and Ireland, John Marshall.
