At Property Portal Watch we don’t play favourites but we do support good causes. I received an email today from Alex Chesterman, the Founder and CEO of Zoopla, asking to support him in his participation in the Shelter Vertical Rush. It seems like a good cause and I therefore thought it would be good to share it with our audience. I encourage you all to help out if you can.
Here is the email from Alex.
In a moment of total madness, I have agreed to take part in the Shelter Vertical Rush.
In short, it involves running up the 920 steps of Tower 42 in the City at around 7.30am on March 1st. Whilst it may not be a marathon, it will no doubt leave me in same condition as had I run one.
I am doing this for a reason – not because I am mad but rather for a worthy cause – in aid of Shelter, who do great work in support of the homeless and those suffering from bad housing in the UK. So, I am asking you to consider sponsoring me, which will both ensure that I don’t back out and that Shelter gets some more funds that are much-needed in the current economic climate.
Any donations are greatly appreciated by Shelter and you can help by contributing at my Just Giving page – http://www.justgiving.com/Alex-Chesterman
