With UberEats the standard for food delivery in South Africa, many are wondering if anyone could step up to the plate and do their job better. Taxify and OrderIn think they can, and have partnered to throw their collective hat into the ring for their own food delivery service.
OrderIn already delivered food across the South African nation, but with Taxify’s expertise and car fleet, the service will spread.
“It all comes down to scale, with more scale we can offer greater efficiency to our customers and reduce our prices – even further,” said CEO and founder of OrderIn, Dinesh Patel.
Taxify has already said this service will give more incentives to their customers and will also give Taxify drivers more chances to make even more money.
“We’re continuously on the look-out for innovative ways to incentivise our drivers and grow our customer base in local markets. The partnership with OrderIn was a logical next step for us,” said Operations Manager for Taxify, Sinako Cetyiwe.
