US-based online real estate marketplace Ten-X’s two new transaction platforms now live have been developed specifically to empower buyers, sellers and real estate professionals to buy and sell residential and commercial real estate (CRE) online.
Ten-X Homes, created especially for buying and selling move-in ready homes, and Ten-X Commercial, the next iteration of its proven CRE offering, will be unveiled at the South By Southwest Interactive Festival, which opens Friday, March 11th.
“We’re on a mission to make the experience of buying and selling properties exponentially better for everyone involved,” says Ten-X CEO Tim Morse.
“Our new platforms combine the familiarity of traditional real estate transactions with the transparency, efficiency and ease that the Internet has brought to other market sectors, like travel and financial services, and sets a new standard for our industry.”
Both platforms deliver enhanced flexibility, control and simplicity and are optimized for use on desktops, tablets and smartphones. Representatives from the company, which is a major sponsor of SXSW Interactive, will be on hand to discuss Ten-X Homes and Ten-X Commercial, and demonstrate the groundbreaking functionality of each.
Ten-X (formerly Auction.com) has a long history of real estate industry leadership and proven success in making online transactions simple, transparent and efficient for buyers, sellers and real estate professionals alike.
Since being founded in 2007, the company has sold more than $37 billion in residential and commercial real estate.
With its January 2016 re-brand (from Auction.online) to Ten-X, the company laid out plans to grow three distinctive lines of business – Ten-X Homes, Ten-X Commercial and Auction.com, its online marketplace exclusively focused on the sale of residential bank-owned and foreclosure properties – with new enabling technologies and programs.
Ten-X Chief Marketing Officer Rick Sharga adds both consumers looking to buy or sell a home and commercial real estate investors hoping to build out their portfolio of properties, the new platforms will deliver what’s needed to be successful.
“A proven platform, a simplified process, and the information and tools you need to confidently buy and sell real estate online – whenever, wherever and however you want to,” Sharga clarifies.
“Ten-X Homes will offer homes from a wide range of sellers including banks, investors, institutions, homebuilders and agents.
“And it will empower consumers – on their own, or with the help of a real estate agent – to do everything involved in the process of buying and selling a home,” he says.
Users will be able to search for homes, or easily create their own property listings, negotiate prices and terms, manage offers and complete sales transactions all online from anywhere on any device. Though it will have a national footprint, Ten-X Homes will initially launch in four markets: Dallas, Denver, Miami and Phoenix.
Ten-X Commercial will offer CRE buyers, sellers and brokers more control than ever before with three transaction options
These include Live Bid, Ten-X’s signature online auction offering, Managed Bid, a two-step process whereby interested buyers submit sealed indicative bids to qualify for a short list that will compete for a property in a scheduled online auction event, and Offer Select, Ten-X’s non-auction offering, which brings the traditional real estate transaction process online.
