Out of more than 100 applicants and 16 company pitches, SAP (systems, applications and products), a leader in enterprise application software, selected seven HR tech companies to be a part of its winter cohort.
The platform was created to face the standard obstacles in finding solutions for service work, and for tasks that don’t require a licensed professional or contractor, nobody should worry about overpaying and wasting time getting estimates.
The goal is to connect businesses with immigrants looking to fill the employee gap in Ontario’s Northwest, educating employers on how to hire newcomers and calm any concerns when it comes to international skills and qualifications, visas and work permits.
Álex Ruiz, co-founder of I Job Fitness, remarks that "all the offers published on the site pass a filter, not accepting those that violate the rights of workers or that meet working conditions below an acceptable level."
Called the Intelligent Hiring Experience, LinkedIn says the new platform will bring recruiters more qualified candidates and save them time. It's launching this summer with more than a dozen new features.
