Launched in 2016 by Phandeeyar Accelerator Cohort 1 alumni Honey and Shwe Yee Mya Win, Chate Sat curates freelancers of various expertise, including web and mobile developers, designers, digital marketers, content writers, animators, photographers, promoters, and more.
Leena AI’s Co-founder Adit Jain commented that the investors include individuals and groups with a rich knowledge base and experience in the startup industry. Jain emphasized that most of their funds are from the Valley, while investors from the Latin America, Indonesia, Middle East, and India also joined the round.
Launched in July, the YY Part Time Jobs app allows employers to list their job vacancies and even specify job details such as time, place and other criteria like relevant skills and years of experience. The app's algorithm then makes sure only relevant candidates are matched with the employers.
