Running on Huawei Cloud, Octopus offers driving data, training and simulation services that can help automakers and other developers more rapidly develop autonomous driving applications, so as to speed up the commercial use of autonomous driving technologies.
In addition, the company also renewed its Autonomous Vehicles Testing Permit from the California Department of Motor Vehicles which places it alongside 60 other businesses, including Uber, Tesla, and Waymo, who have received the same permit.
NIO owners will only need to download and install the Nio App to the Xiaomi Mi Watch to turn the watch into a smart remote control for their vehicle. According to reports, every NIO car model will support the Mi Watch NIO app.
