In the near- to mid-term – thanks in part to new rules approved by the European Commission this year –connected technology is likely to have a more immediate impact on UK drivers than wholly autonomous vehicles.

The advert is What Car?’s first-ever television campaign and forms part of a larger media rollout that also includes paid social content, display and print advertising throughout the first three months of 2020.
The company stated that its first Squawk advertising round during the summer was viewed over 355 million times and created 2.6 million unique visitors to look at new cars on its platform during the campaign.
While at the Great British Fleet Event, at the London Novotel West on January 30th, ADESA will show off its ADESA IVI, a smart car inspection service, which claims to be the first introduction of AI into the UK remarketing market.
EVie Chief Executive Gavin Breeze said that the schemes would help meet a number of objectives being targeted in Jersey, including reducing carbon emissions, improving air quality, lowering traffic congestion and reducing the cost of living for Islanders, who could hire cars instead of buying them.
