Trulia has entered into a partnership with the San Francisco Association of REALTORS, in order to ensure quality of listing data, for the association’s 4,200 members.
The San Francisco Association of REALTORS® will participate in the Trulia Direct Reference program, a quality assurance system that allows local Multiple Listing Services (MLS) to find and correct inaccurate data within their markets by identifying discrepancies between the data provided by the MLS and information from other syndication sources.
“We’re excited to partner with Trulia to help our members identify and correct inaccurate sources of data,” said James C. Fabris, CEO of the San Francisco Association of REALTORS®. “Trulia’s Direct Reference Program will ensure our members’ listing data is more accurately displayed on the web, giving home buyers and sellers in San Francisco more accurate property listing information. “
“We created the Trulia Direct Reference program to help brokers identify and correct outdated or inaccurate information about their listings,” said Mark Weiss, Trulia Director of Business Development. “By implementing this program, the San Francisco Association of REALTORS® will help their members more accurately market their properties online.”
The San Francisco Association of REALTORS® will send Trulia current and ongoing property listings to compare against other data sources and match for accuracy.
