Unilever has recently announced the debut of FLEX Experiences, its latest internal online talent marketplace.

The new platform will help employees 'push the boundaries of their career', the company said, by using an AI-powered platform to identify personalised opportunities across the business.

The new platform will give employees access to work on projects for a set period of time, increase the depth of their expertise and build new skills and experiences, according to Unilever.

The AI technology is powered by Israeli-based startup, InnerMobility by Gloat, which has worked closely with Unilever to create this platform.

The platform has been trailed with over 20,000 Unilever employees over the past year, unlocking 60,000 hours in the last two months alone.

The platform is expected to be rolled out across the company by 2020.
