Silicon Valley-based online education services provider Udacity on Thursday announced its collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) to facilitate skill development of engineering students in the state.
A total of five Udacity nanodegree programs have been selected by APSSDC, the content of which has been co-created by tech giants like Google, Kaggle, Amazon and AT&T with industry-relevant projects, project reviews, mentorship, and Udacity career services.
These programs are Android Developer, Machine Learning Engineer, Front End Web Developer, Intro to Programming and Full Stack Web Developer.
Sambasiva Rao Koganti, managing director and chief executive officer, APSSDC, said “APSSDC is encouraging the students to pursue these programmes by providing mentors in the colleges to guide the students and also bearing part of the course fee. A pilot program with 1,000 target has been launched and we are hopeful to meet the target by March 2018”.
