Premier and foremost workforce solutions provider for the cannabis industry in the United States, Wurk, has recently announced a trio of new executive hires to be added to their core staff. Coming in as COO is Rick Nichols, Greg Adamietz will become Vice President of Sales, and Ken Haigh as the company’s new CTO. These hires come after Wurk’s successful raising of $3.2 million in capital.
Keegan Peterson, CEO and Founder of Wurk, commented on what prompted the strategic hires and the occasion itself:

New CTO Ken Haigh will primarily hone on in the firm’s general product angle and strategies for the platform at large. Prior to this position, Haigh worked with business planning and execution products and services provider, Radioactive.io, where he was Founder and President.
As COO, Rick Nichols, will take over company sales, marketing, and consumer success programs. Nichols comes in with over three decades of experience as a veteran technology sales and marketing professional from groups including SAP, PeopleSoft, and PeopleMatter. Additionally, he held CRO positions with First Data and Intelligent Results.
Greg Adamietz, as Vice President of Sales, gains the responsibility of spearheading sales growth and business development plans for the company. He comes to the firm with more than twenty years of expertise in sales and marketing departments and has previously worked with ventures like Rapt Media and DigitalGlobe where he aided the Fortune 500 firms to connect and engage with customers and employees alike through innovative technology initiatives.
Wurk CEO Peterson further discussed the company’s hopes and future intentions with the new positions outlined the company’s plans with the appointments:
