Zillow has extended its immersive Listing Showcase to six new major markets—as promised earlier this year.
Dallas, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, San Francisco and Riverside are the biggest names from the second tranche of U.S. expansions for Zillow's enhanced property marketing product via the agent-focused ShowingTime+ platform—with a limited number of agents selected
The latest wave of markets joins Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Diego and Seattle to offer Zillow's "super listing" experience that was introduced in June earlier this year.
The Listing Showcase product lets agents highlight a home's best features, and add high-resolution scrolling hero images, interactive floor plans and more. Other features include highlighted map icons that link to property websites with vibrant, motion-graphic hero images, bolder listing agent information, cleanly categorized room imagery, and an intuitive home tour scheduling widget.
Zillow has been clear about its intention to offer the AI-powered product to more markets as it looks to tighten its grip on the U.S. real estate portal industry via its so-called "super app".
Just last week, the portal giant announced that will acquire tech-enabled title and escrow company Spruce to collaborate on a service that eases the closing stages of transactions.
News of the Spruce deal dropped in the same month that Zillow acquired real estate media software and content management platform Aryeo for a cool $35M, which will be integrated into and share synergies with ShowingTime+—while December 2022's acquisition of VRX media is another notable addition to Zillow's acquisitions arsenal.
