US portal giant Zillow yesterday announced a reshuffle of its leadership. Matt Daimler will move from the Group’s New York based rentals platform StreetEasy to a newly created role as the Senior Vice President of the Product Division. Filling Daimler’s spot in New York will be Caroline Burton who steps into the hot seat as General Manager of StreetEasy and Zillow’s New York operations. Daimler’s new role will be about overseeing the real estate shopping experience for Zillow users and bringing together different Group products and according to Zillow President Jeremy Wacksman Daimler will bring “forward-thinking perspective and focus that we need to build innovative products that rewire the way people buy, sell, rent, and finance homes.”
In related news, StreetEasy and Zillow have been recognized by Fortune Magazine as one of the best 100 companies to work for in New York after surveying employees from across the city.
