ZipRecruiter recently announced a partnership with the American Red Cross to deliver a year of free job postings to the nonprofit, which provides blood services, disaster relief, emergency assistance and health and safety education to those in need. To celebrate the partnership, ZipRecruiter held a blood drive in their Santa Monica, California and Tempe, Arizona offices for employees to participate.
As part of the partnership, the American Red Cross will post its thousands of monthly job openings across ZipRecruiter’s resume database, which currently boasts millions of active job seekers across the U.S. For the next year, the organization will be able to leverage the platform’s robust suite of hiring features to quickly and easily connect with the best-suited job candidates nationwide.
“Every day, communities rely on the American Red Cross to provide lifesaving services,” said Melissa Hurst, Chief Human Resources Officer of the American Red Cross. “Central to that delivery is ensuring our regions are fully staffed with talented professionals ready to put our mission into action. As one of our primary sources of hire, ZipRecruiter has long been a valuable partner in helping us fill nearly 6,000 vacancies per year. Their generous gift and partnership not only expands our ability to reach top talent more quickly, it also ensures we can continue to serve those who need us most.”
“Our goal at ZipRecruiter is to help people find meaningful work, and we’re happy to be able to contribute to such a great non-profit such as the American Red Cross,” said Ian Siegel, CEO and co-founder of ZipRecruiter. “By using our services, we hope to help the Red Cross build the best teams nationwide so the organization can continue to help communities prepare for and respond to emergencies whenever they strike.”
