UK-based property portal, Zoopla, has reported with new research showing that in order to reach the highest number of leads which could turn into faster sales, there is a time limit—meaning certain days and times produce better results than others.

According to the data, a listing will receive the highest proportion of online leads direct from its portal on weekday evenings, making sense to launch a property online during one of these sweet spots.

For sales listings, Wednesday is when most interested buyers are viewing homes and sending leads to estate agents, with the hour of 9pm being most popular. Friday and Saturday receive the lowest proportion of leads generated as house hunters seem to lose their drive for home hunting by the end of the working week. Considering all days of the week (not just Wednesday) the hour when most leads are delivered is 8 to 9pm.

Those looking for their next rented home are most active on a Monday, when the greatest proportion of leads are received by agents. When it comes to the peak hours for renters, 8pm is the most popular hour for lead generation generally across the week. At the other end of the spectrum, Fridays and Saturdays see the fewest rental leads generated.
