Following the announcement of its inaugural 7-A-Side Charity Football Tournament back in April, Zoopla Property Group received an overwhelming response from residential property agents and developers from around the country looking to do battle on the football field.
The 20 teams that have secured a place to play for the chance of being crowned the best football team in residential property this coming Sunday, 2nd June at The Hawthorns (home of West Bromwich Albion FC) are Aspire, Davis Tate, Edmund Cude, Gibbs Gillespie, Intercounty, The Bridge LsL Property Services, jdm, JP & Brimelow, Kings Group, Laports, Miles & Barr, Adams Estates, Persimmon Homes Lancashire, Proffitt and Holt Partnership, Square Mile, Streets Ahead, CPS Lettings, Taylors Central,StudentTenantFind.com and ZPG.
Each squad will enjoy the full Premier League football experience – meeting and playing with former Premier League players, playing on a Premier League pitch with FA approved officials, physios and equipment on hand as well as having full use of the club’s changing room facilities.
The tournament is being fully sponsored by ZPG with all proceeds going to The Estate Agency Foundation (EAF) and is expected to be highly competitive with the winning team taking home the ZPG 7-A-Side Charity Football Tournament trophy along with prizes for Player of the Tournament, Goal of the Tournament and Best Team Kit.
On the day, Zoopla Property Group are inviting each player in the squads (200 in total) to try their boot at the now famous Zoopla.co.uk Half-Time House Challenge, featured in every Premier League home game at The Hawthorns this past season. From 18-yards, each player will try to kick the ball through either the door or windows of the Zoopla House and for every successful attempt, Zoopla Property Group will donate a further £500 to the EAF. There will also be raffles and other activities for supporters and players during the day.
Alex Chesterman, Founder & CEO of Zoopla Property Group said, “We’re delighted but not surprised by the incredible response we’ve had from members wishing to participate and will now be making this a regular annual event. It’s great to be able to provide a fun day out for our members and their families as well as a good networking event, whilst at the same time raising funds for great causes.”
