OnTheMarket.com Lets Users Filter Listings Without 3D Tours

UK challenger portal OnTheMarket has introduced a new filter on their site that lets users prioritize listings which feature 3D or video tours. The new tool follows government guidelines that property hunters should endeavour to do as much research online as possible before attending in-person viewings.

OnTheMarket users now have both the option to prioritise listings with online viewings in their search results as well as an option in the advanced filters to completely filter out results that do not include online viewings.

Video tours and 3D visualizations are well on the way to becoming expected as standard by users and as agents scramble to implement the technology it may not be long until OnTheMarket’s rivals Rightmove and Zoopla develop a similar filter.
