Adevinta Spain is currently going through a management team reorganization as part of the eBay Classifieds Group (eCG) acquisition, announcing a new CEO. Former General Director of InfoJobs, Roman Campa, is replacing Gianpaolo Santorsola as of July 1st as CEO. Santorsola will continue at the company as the Executive Vice President of European Markets.

Campa is not new to Adevinta. He was originally the Chief Financial Officer in 2016. Three years later, he was promoted to General Director of InfoJobs.

Campa said:

“I face this new change with great enthusiasm. We face the challenge of continuing to promote the growth of the company and aspire to increasingly ambitious objectives, and we will achieve it thanks to an unrivaled team of people.

"I thank the company, and especially Gianpaolo Santorsola, for the trust they have always placed in me and that they count on me for this challenge."

As soon-to-be Executive VP of European Markets for Adevinta, Santorsola will lead teams in the Spanish, German, Italian, Austrian, Hungarian, Dutch, and Irish markets.

On his position transition, Santorsola said:

“A new stage for the company begins. Adevinta becomes the world leader in online marketplaces and our presence in Europe is strengthened. In this position, the Spanish market will continue to have great weight.

"I am very grateful for these three years at the helm of Adevinta Spain for all that we have achieved together, especially in this last period of the pandemic."

Adevinta's new management team will continue to be led by the current CEO, Rolv Erik Ryssdal, and will consist of the following members:

  • Uvashni Raman, Chief Financial Officer
  • Brent Mclean, Director of Product and Technology
  • Nicki Dexter, Director of People and Communication
  • Antoine Jouteau, CEO of Adevinta France
  • Malte Krüger, CEO of Mobile.de (Germany)
  • Gianpaolo Santorsola, Executive Vice President of European Markets
  • Zac Candelario, Executive Vice President of International Markets

The new management team will work together to enhance company strategies spanning all business avenues under the Adevinta umbrella, moving forward with the added business of eCG.
