Dubai based property portal company Property Finder has announced the appointment of Gauthier Andries as its new Chief Technology Officer. Having held the same role at international jobs classifieds giant StepStone, Andries comes into his new role with a wealth of experience in the classifieds industry and is keen to get to work.

"I’ve only just arrived in Dubai and have already used the Property Finder portal extensively and have some interesting insights and solutions on how we as an organization can help facilitate the search for the best home."

During his time at StepStone, Andries was heavily involved in knitting together teams and technology from several different companies which the Axel-Springer-owned company acquired over the years, and his experience seems to have been a key factor in his appointment. Speaking of Gauthier’s appointment Ari Kesisoglu, President at Property Finder said:

“I’m delighted to have Gauthier join our leadership team at Property Finder. We are a technology company and having an experienced CTO like him will help us create innovative tech-solutions for home seekers in the region as well as our customers. With his arrival, we will also be able to step-change our contribution to the technology ecosystem at large in our part of the world, by applying modern approaches to many technology practices. We couldn’t be more excited to have him join us.”

Back in September Property Finder CEO Michael Lahyani told us about the challenges of operating in multiple markets, and with a strong leadership signing such as that of Andries Property Finder is no doubt looking to overcome some of those challenges.
