There's a new real estate agency claiming to hire property experts only, and has recently announced recent investment as well as recruitment of a new London agent veteran.

YOUhome Property Gurus says it will be using an investment of £500,000 to continue its recruitment approach, as well as its 'grassroots marketing'.

The agency, which was launched by Adrian Black, has also appointed Mark O'Neill as its latest Guru. O'Neill, previously a partner and office head at Knight Frank, will cover Dulwich and Vauxhall.

YOUhome Property Gurus says it now has a team boasting combined sales of over 3,000 in Prime Central London, as well as individual values of up to £30 million.

The agency offers its Gurus a salary, commission, administration support, marketing support and access to PlatformYOU, which provides up to the minute aggregated market data and supports vendor management.

YOUhome's marketing so far has consisted of social media and influencer engagement, events and engaging with home sellers at community level.

"This may seem like a modest investment, but it’s what we need to get to the next level with the model we’ve created," says Adrian Black, Founder of YOUhome Property Gurus.

"Whilst a lot of the new estate agent models have spent big on marketing but not seen the ROI in leads, we have found that being innovators in grassroots marketing mediums has served us well.
