Leading Australian portal operator REA Group has today announced that it is offering its customers a free 6-week course around digital sales. The offer comes as many parts of Australia are once again in lockdown as Covid-19 cases continue to rise in the country.

REA Group is partnering with PropTech platform Realtair for the initiative which is offering Lee Woodward’s The Complete Salesperson Digital course worth A$695 to customers for free to help them upskill while they might be locked down.

Speaking about his company's commitment to agent training, REA Group General Manager Residential, Simon Hope said:

“We have seen an incredible amount of resilience and innovation among the industry in the last 18 months. Whether it be digital prospecting, online inspections, or online auctions - agents have embraced the change and REA is pleased to play a role in that,”

“We’ve prioritised supporting our customers through the challenges of the pandemic and we’ve always valued professional development and training. Through our partnership with Realtair, we’re delighted to share this opportunity with property professionals to further refine and develop their skills.”

REA Group is not the only big-name portal to offer training to its agent customers in tough times. Rightmove has developed a specialist training 'hub' for agents and Zillow offers its Premier Agent subscribers a wide range of courses on its platform.
