Apropos by DJ Alexander has announced that Nick Maunder and Matthew Garstang will be joining its Board of Directors while the firm begins the roll-out of its new property portal by next year.

The firm said the appointments reflect its desire to grow its senior management team to deliver on its expanding service, which will transform the firm from being solely Scottish-based to covering the whole of the UK.

Maunder is the firm’s Director of Operations and Chief Technical Officer, and has been instrumental in creating and delivering the bespoke Apropos software platform along with 31 staff based in the UK and India. He has extensive experience of delivering large scale software projects and was previously COO of global ATM software company KAL.

He said: “Developing and delivering a bespoke software platform is always a challenge but one that I relish. We have created something unique with Apropos and I, and my team, are very proud of what we have achieved. I believe that it will be seen as innovative, unique, and a vanguard of the way property platforms develop in the future.”

Garstang is the firm’s Finance Director and has been integral in strengthening and developing the financial strength of the business as it gears up for growth. He is a qualified CA and has previously worked for PwC and Grant Thornton. Most recently, he was the Director of Finance for the Crieff Hydro group of hotels and remains a non-executive director there.
