Richard Jacques, a former Purplebricks Lettings Director, is delving into entrepreneurship with the launch of a new online property investment portal.

Called Investerge, it is an online investment marketplace, providing a platform for properties both in the UK and abroad, and aiming to bring together agents and investors.

It is particularly looking for relationships with estate agents, for whom there will be referral earning opportunities when they recommend an investor.

Jacques was with Purplebricks for over five years until this May, heading up lettings and also its specialist investment division.

He has now launched Investerge and said that it offers regional agents interested in widening their services the opportunity to build an income simply by identifying and referring customers interested in property investment.

Investerge has already announced its first partnership, with Keller Williams.

Jacques said: “It is a brilliant beginning for Investerge.

“As a start-up, we have a vision of the way a new generation of investors will want to work and invest."
