Fora looks to change up coworking with newest location

Coworking firm Fora is looking to move on from its original business model, looking to be more flexible moving forward

Stepping into Fora’s new space in Soho, you’d be forgiven for thinking you were in a new hotel, or an independent boutique, rather than a shared office space. 

Inside, there's the Soho Radio studio bringing live action to the lobby, as well as the L’École Hôtelière de Lausanne-trained concierge staff on hand to fetch anything you might need.

If co-working disrupted the traditional office space then Fora wants to disrupt co-working. Instead of reams of guys hunched over laptops, sampling the free beer on tap and taking time out at the ping pong table, Fora is all smooth colors and gold accents, incorporating a tranquil atmosphere to the shared office environment.

Whilst the tech bros are still present, Dropbox UK has its HQ in the new Soho office for instance, instead of the frantic, buzzy mood found in other workspaces, there is a sense of calm emanating from Fora and its residences.

The next stage of co-working

In 2018, it was thought there were more than 1,300 flexible office locations in London, and that figure has been on the rise, with more and more operators from WeWork to Huckletree and Second Home growing and expanding.
