Software development service firm, Shift3 Technologies, has recently launched its latest app, Listing Alert, which gives real estate professionals exclusive access to listings before they go live on the Multiple Listing Service (MSL). How the app is able to get this instant information is through a simple buddy system; the app allows agents to alert other agents in the same brokerage of new listings, giving their firm the first opportunity to sell the property before it gets leaked to the rest of the public. This "pre-listing" access allows agents to begin their marketing and organizing their older and new listings at the same time.

"When we met with Shift3, we instantly knew they understood our vision," said Sandra Cox, CEO, Listing Alert. "Shift3 developed a beautiful application that helped us fill a critical industry need. This application is going to revolutionize the real estate industry by streamlining processes that help agents focus on what matters most – selling homes and changing lives."

Organizing pre-MLS listings is mostly a traditional job. Agents work remotely most of the time, spending their work days out of office and missing the latest listings popping up. With the Listing Alert app, these same agents can get notifications for the newest listings before they reach the public no matter where they are. This benefits not just agents as individuals, but their collective firms, especially when it comes to sharing the pre-listing properties with their potential buyers.

"At Shift3, we develop apps that modernize workflows to drive efficiency and create competitive advantages for clients," said Irma Olguin Jr., CEO, Shift3. "When our technological know-how is combined with an experienced professional who truly understands the needs of their industry, we can revolutionize processes."
