Jason Chuck, the CEO of LJ Hooker's tech-driven real estate agency, Avnu, has recently been brought aboard the Domain Group's team as the new Chief Customer Officer.

Chuck’s role – a new one for Domain – will incorporate the responsibilities of former Chief Marketing Officer, Melina Cruickshank, who defected to rival REA Group last December.

As Domain’s Chief Customer Officer, Chuck will also be responsible for all of the Nine-majority owned real estate platform’s consumer facing functions including revenue generating activities such the company’s Loan Finder, relocation assistance and online price research services as well as editorial and marketing.

Chuck arrived in Australia from his native Canada via Hong Kong in 2009 where he first worked with Domain boss Jason Pellegrino as head of ANZ marketing for Google.

After leaving Google the following year, Chuck joined eHarmony as managing director for Australia, Canada and Japan before holding country and regional roles with Etsy and Houzz. He became the founding CEO of LJ Hooker’s Avnu in December, 2017.
