Specialist investment property portal Property.xyz has today announced that it has successfully raised an Angel Seed round of £268,000.

The North West England based startup was founded in 2019 by Robert Jones and Dr Simone Di Cola and went into beta testing in 2020. As a specialist site for property investors the portal displays listing information such as potential yield that its founders say is sorely lacking from other rival portals.

The latest investment round raised from individuals with experience in finance and real estate will help the PropTech firm execute its next phase. According to Jones, this involves plans to allow investors to place ‘bids’ and ‘buy now’ on properties selected by agents with both on and off-market property investments.

"We are delighted to announce this development. We have raised the funds, from some fantastic investors, to begin the next chapter for property xyz. What we have learned from our user feedback, we can now act on, to provide our clients with richer data and a more seamless property-buying experience.

Our upcoming off-market property opportunities are particularly exciting. Genuine off-market opportunities are incredibly hard to come by and the process is often somewhat opaque. It’s great to be part of helping connecting genuine property buyers with agents in this space"

Property.xyz is following the trend among property marketplace businesses towards end-to-end transactions and its proposed built-in bidding system and buy-now features have attracted a lot of interest from agents and potential investors according to a press release circulated today.
