The U.S. real estate giant CoStar has rebranded its British commercial real estate portal, Realla.

Now sporting the same logo and colour scheme as its American cousin LoopNet, the most visited specialist British commercial property portal is being marketed to agents as part of "the world's largest commercial real estate marketing platform".

CoStar bought out Realla in 2018 with a press release highlighting the portal's "wealth of expertise in capturing listings data in other European markets" as a clear fit with CoStar's expansion strategy.

CoStar Group owns and operates other real estate marketplaces in Europe. The company bought the French commercial property portal BureauxLocaux.com in October 2021 and before that, in 2017 it acquired the Spanish commercial portal Belbex.

CoStar Group is the market leader in the United States in the commercial sector owning and operating LoopNet as well as the popular CoStar suite of data intelligence products. The company is currently moving into the residential real estate sector having acquired the Homes.com domain and intends to take on American incumbent Zillow.

Having generated record Q3 revenues in a declining market and with nearly $5 billion in dry powder, CoStar may well be set to make more overseas acquisitions soon.
