SafestHires, Inc., a veteran-owned employment background checks agency and the National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA) have partnered to help ensure NTMA member companies are protected with accurate, compliant background checks. NTMA has nearly 1,300 members, representing more than $30 billion in sales.

Under the partnership, SafestHires will provide criminal and civil background checks, driving records, verifications, drug testing, and other occupational health services at special rates for NTMA members only. Additionally, SafestHires will provide NTMA-member companies with background checks compliance training.

“We are pleased to begin this partnership with SafestHires,” said NTMA President Dean Bartles. “Our member companies want their workforce to be safe and their workplace secure. With their proprietary screening technology and industry Best Practices, we’re confident our members will get all of this and more from SafestHires,” Bartles said.

NTMA members will be able to take advantage of SafestHires RapidHire™ screening technology, which was developed in partnership with 500 HR and Talent Acquisition professionals to be the easiest, fastest and most accurate background checks platform for busy hiring teams. RapidHire™ has built-in compliance filters, uses machine learning and data science to maximize accuracy and compliance, and integrates with courts and other background data sources to provide industry-leading turnaround. RapidHire™ also automatically integrates with every web-based applicant tracking/HR system, at no additional cost to NTMA members, for total convenience.

In fact, the RapidHire™ background screening software platform was recently validated when HR Tech Outlook Magazine named SafestHires a “Top 10 Employment Screening Agency for 2019” for its innovative screening technology.

“I am thrilled that NTMA has partnered with SafestHires to serve their members,” said Andrew Andersen, Managing Partner of SafestHires. “This partnership is another validation of the impact our proprietary and unique screening process can have. With SafestHires, NTMA members can focus on growing their companies while we help them make safe hires with our advanced technology."
