IOTAS was awarded Startup of the Year 2019 by Startup Grind at their recent conference.

“Of the thousands of startups we consider and speak with each year, IOTAS showed what it takes to take the torch and we are thrilled they are 2019's winner,” said Derek Andersen, Founder and CEO at Startup Grind. Startup Grind is the among largest independent startup community, actively educating, inspiring, and connecting more than 1,500,000 entrepreneurs in over 500 chapters.

According to the Startup Program Director at Startup Grind, Alex Gordon-Furse, “IOTAS has a very strong team and it was an absolute pleasure to announce them as our Growth Startup of the Year. I am confident that they will continue their fantastic momentum over the coming years and I look forward to supporting their journey!”

The future holds good news for IOTAS. The startup is in the midst of a fundraising round to find strong salesmen in New York and L.A., as well as Java developers to join their already star-studded team.

“IOTAS is honored to win Startup of the Year from Startup Grind. It was an amazing event with the most impressive lineup of speakers I’ve ever seen. And the caliber of the startup companies in the Growth stage was incredibly high. Startup Grind definitely filled a void for startups like us who are on their way to growth stage and gave us a great platform to meet with investors, other startup founders, and partners,” said Sce Pike, CEO, IOTAS.

Sce Pike is a veteran, with skill in User Interface design, having been an adviser for Smart Grid Northwest, an investor in both Oaken Innovations and Portland Seed Fund. Pike's been noted as an expert in the tech field in the US. She is currently focusing her time on brainstorming disruptive technologies to change how users interact with their environments.
