hackajob, the tech recruitment platform eliminating bias from the hiring process, is launching in Amsterdam. This is the fourth European office for the company and supports its aim to make worldwide hiring fairer, faster and meritocratic.

The launch responds to Amsterdam’s thriving tech ecosystem and a surge in the demand for specialist roles from start-ups and enterprises. In the last year, the Dutch capital has firmly established itself on the global tech scene, and Panasonic recently relocated its European headquarters there from London. The move will create roles both in Amsterdam and hackajob’s headquarters in London.

In the last six months, hackajob has expanded into two major European tech hubs: Paris and Berlin, bringing the total number of cities to 4 including London. Its mission is to eradicate unconscious bias from recruitment, using technology that assesses the candidate skills’ suitability for specific roles, rather than on any appearance of suitability that a traditional CV might give.

Commenting on the move, Razvan Creanga, CEO & Co-founder at hackajob, says: “It’s an exciting time for the business, launching our services in an increasingly buoyant tech environment.

“Wherever we set up, our mission is the same: we want to banish bias from the hiring process. The Dutch tech scene is so vibrant – and we want to ensure we’re matching companies with the most skilled candidates.

“2019 and 2020 are set to be an exciting years, as we plan on expanding both geographically and in new sectors like financial services and marketing.”

hackajob’s specialist platform will be available across the Dutch capital to new and existing clients.

hackajob has previously worked with companies such as Apple, Argos and Vodafone and more than 100,000 highly skilled technology experts have signed up to the platform.
