Gary Barker, Reapit CEO, says that 100 agents and tech companies have registered to Reapit's SaaS app. The Property Franchise Group and Manning Stainton are among the now registered users.

Reapit has begun rolling out its much-anticipated Foundations ‘app store’ platform and is now testing it with a selected group of estate agents and technology firms ahead of a general release.

Reapit is unusual because it will be entirely open-source with no restrictions on who can develop an app and upload it to Foundations.

Some of the first to do this include The Property Franchise Group, parent group of Martin & Co and EweMove, which has registered two apps, and Manning Stainton.

The announcement follows Reapit’s event in November during which a large group of leading agents and tech firms gathered to hear about its new platform in East London and some 100 companies have now signed up.

Reapit says it will open up the Foundations platform to more customers and partners once the Alpha phase has concluded.

Access to the Beta product will be extended to interested developers, be that proptechs or customers, in the coming weeks and the sign-up window for Phase 1 of the Deployment Program will be opened for existing customers this month.
