Property portals everywhere are working diligently to meet the needs of consumers who can't leave their homes while stay-at-home orders are in place.

Matterport reported skyrocketing numbers for its 3D camera sales as companies switch to virtual tours.

UK's Purplebricks has publicly stated it is moving from its hybrid business model to a completely online model, offering all services exclusively through its platform. Property Finder made available its virtual home tours on its platform as well as on its social media profiles.

Realestate.com.au quietly added virtual home inspections to its 'Inspections' tab

Now, Rightmove is the next to offer virtual tours, and is doing so just as quietly as realeste.com.au did.

The UK-based property portal giant has recently updated its app too allow Apple users fully immersive virtual viewings of homes listed up on its marketplace

But how is this different than what Rightmove had in the past? Previously, the tours were just embedded videos from Youtube and Vimeo. Now, agents can upload links to external sources providing videos and virtual tours through their own means on the Rightmove mobile app.
