99home, the UK’s 5th largest online estate agents has taken a big step forward by acquired one of the industry’s most prominent tenant referencing provider companies Landlord Referencing Limited and landlord insurance provider Rent Safe UK Ltd.

99home, One-stop property shop, deals in residential and commercial property sales, lettings, property management, mortgages, and conveyancing will now have access to in-house referencing and insurance, too.

Landlordreferencing.co.uk and Rent Safe UK, provide landlords and tenants with one of the UK’s most comprehensive tenant referencing, credit checks, insurance products for landlords such as rent guarantee, tenant content insurance, portfolio insurance, and appliance cover.

Now with 99home, landlords can market their property on Zoopla, OnTheMarket and Rightmove on a “no let no fee basis” by using the 99home platform and have all tenants check and insurance done under one roof.

Vijay Vashistha, Co-Founder and COO of 99home said,

"With this acquisition, thousands of Rent Safe UK and Landlord referencing clients will have access to market their property on 99home’s platform for the tenant-find services which is just £49, compares to a hefty high street agent fee. We are moving towards a collaboration of PropTech, FinTech, InsureTech and BlockChain platform."

Sachin Gupta, CEO of 99home added we will be adding more features to the current system including: tenant passport and free credit check, giving landlords a One Stop Service.

At this moment, 99home use a third-party referencing company, but we will now be able to bring this in-house. This will result in landlords having fast vettings and giving them greater confidence in their tenants.

According to Golbal Dta, the UK private landlord insurance market size is around £807 million.

Paul Routledge, Founder of both Rent Safe UK and LandlordReferencing.co.uk said that he was delighted that with his imminent retirement he is now assured that Landlords were going to have the continued support to find the right tenants and have a range of insurance solutions available. Paul Routledge, who has over 100 properties, admits that increased regulations have made life more difficult for landlords. The ability to choose the right tenant before committing to signing a tenancy agreement and finding the right insurance is vital for business success and it is Paul’s desire to continue as an active adviser and stakeholder and to offer his full support in helping 99homes become the market leader in offering landlords the best services available within the PRS.

99home associate, Colin White, said that he felt this will be of huge benefit to existing customers of Landlord Referencing and Rent Safe UK. In addition to industry-leading referencing and insurance services, they will benefit from the full suite of property services from 99home. All customers will benefit the seamless range of services allowing them to Buy, Sell, Let and insure all in one place.
