Created by Rizot Holidays, Avastrip is among the first business-to-business hotel booking platforms for the Maldives' market. The site was debuted at the annual Arabian Travel Market 2019 in Dubai earlier this month.

Managing Director of Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation Thoyyib Mohamed launched Avastrip from one of the country's representative stands at the travel fair.

"It's a good initiative, and I think we need more products like this to help to facilitate our resorts, hotels, guest houses and live-aboards as well", Thoyyib said, following the launch.

Avastrip is designed exclusively to cater to holiday experiences desired from the Maldives, offering B2B rates in real time. The platform allows agents to generate quotations, add markups and make reservations on the spot.

Moreover, the platform offers solutions for every step of a holiday based at the island nation, from airport transfers to hotel bookings and excursions.
