Students create profiles highlighting their accomplishments, skills and interests. Handshake then generates personalized content for each student, connecting them to jobs and internships that fit their interests.
"Handshake provides SDSU students with direct access to Fortune 500 companies and local employers – all right from their smartphones,” said Chris Turntine, Associate Director of employer services for SDSU Career Services.
Faculty and staff who wish to connect with potential student employees can sign up for an employer account in Handshake. Those who had an Aztec Career Connection account should have received an email with instructions, but all faculty and staff with hiring needs are eligible to create a Handshake account.
