Compass has announced the biggest redesign of its website in a decade, putting more early-access homes at the fingertips of consumers in America.
See It First™ will also go hand in hand with a multimillion-dollar advertising campaign to reach homebuyers nationwide, with thousands of listings already being marketed "before they're available on other websites." According to Compass, the See It First™ naming confirms that listings in the early stages of marketing are still publicly marketed.
Qualifying listings will be private and online, with early access for over 5000 homes already advertised on Compass's website, with the company's search page also teasing several 'coming soon' properties on top of already-available exclusives.
Compass says the new brand will give buyers greater selection and an elevated search experience while empowering sellers to gauge demand and build buyer interest without accruing public days on market or public price changes.
Julie Keef, Head of Consumer Search at Compass, said:
"“With See It First™, we’re giving consumers the opportunity to discover more homes earlier. By bringing more homes and local expertise together in one place, we’re making Compass.com an even more valuable destination for buyers to start and continue their home search.”
According to Compass's press release, any buyer or buyer’s agent, regardless of brokerage affiliation, can learn more about any home represented by a real estate professional affiliated with any of the nine Compass International Holdings brands. Buyers do not need to work with a Compass real estate professional to view these listings.
Sellers are also empowered to test pricing and build buyer demand through premium placement in search results, without accruing days on market or public price drops. Sellers can then use those insights to adjust their pricing and marketing strategy, while agents now have more ways to deliver value and choice to prospective clients. Because the listing agent remains front and centre, with their name, photo, and brokerage prominently displayed on every home they represent, buyers and their brokers can get answers directly from the real estate professional who knows the home best, while sellers know the interest their home generates is going directly to the agent they chose to represent them.
