Job search giant, Indeed, has recently announced that a familiar face would be stepping up as the next CEO of the company.

Indeed President Chris Hyams is set to take over as the Chief Executive on April 1, succeeding Hisayuki Idekoba, who has served in the top post since October 2013. Hyams would lead one of the world’s largest job-services companies, with nearly 1,000 working at its downtown Stamford offices and about 2,000 based at its largest hub, in Austin, Texas.

“We have been growing incredibly successfully since the company started, and my job primarily is to continue to be a good shepherd of what has been a remarkable business," Hyams said. "Our outlook for continued growth is extremely positive,  and I'm excited to see how it unfolds."

Hyams, 51, has served as President since October 2015, overseeing innovation and growth initiatives. During his eight-year tenure at the company, the Austin-based executive has also served as senior vice president of product and helped build Indeed’s global technology team.

At the same time, Idekoba was appointed to the board of directors of Indeed’s parent company, Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd., for which he also serves as chief operating officer.
