Job.com's Co-founder Arran Stewart isn't happy with the state of AI hiring - specifically in its pervasive bias when it comes to gender, he says.

Stewart blames gender bias, in part, on how machine learning is trained on data sets from occupations that are male dominated, such as tech.

"When the artificial intelligence is learning from a data set of resumes that is predominantly male, guess what? It will only look for male candidates," Stewart said.
