British property portal, Purplebricks, has stated that its co-founder Kenny Bruce has returned to the UK to oversee things there for the time being.

PurpleBricks provides a full estate agency service at a low cost because they've removed the expensive offices and fleets of cars that you see with traditional agents. Changes made to the business in Australia include a new charging model, where sellers pay half the fee upfront and the rest when the sale goes through.

On February 21, Purplebricks announced a profits warning, saying that although it expected the UK business to meet expectations, its Australian and US businesses would not.
