This platform enables agents set up their own practices

This property portal says that it can help agents and staff working for companies quit those jobs and set up their own companies.

Chelmsford-based PreKey has launched what it claims is a unique system which allows them to retain 100 per cent ownership of the management contracts and set their own fee structure.

PreKey says it’s designed for those managing a portfolio on behalf of a few landlords, but not yet of a size where a full office set up is required.

Joining the platform allows use of its property management system, unlimited marketing on Rightmove under the PreKey brand, and business support.

There is a 50 percent discount for the first three months.

PreKey says go-it-alone agents and managers can use the system for messaging tenants, arranging viewings, handling applications, conducting referencing and managing tenancies as well as ordering floorplans, gas certificates, EPC’s, and photography.

Tenants also get their own dashboard which can be connected to FixFlo, helping improve communication during tenancies, reducing queries.
