MoveStreets 'Swipe Right' Feature Mimics the Popular Dating App Tinder

Back in August, we reported on a Tinder-style real estate listing app, MoveStreets that uses the popular ‘swipe’ style of browsing and selecting your favorite listings. 

MoveStreets mimics the very popular dating app Tinder, matching users with properties in their chosen locations with their chosen preferences. Users just have to swipe right on the properties they like and left on the properties they aren’t interested in. Once a user swipes right, the listing agent is contacted in order to begin the viewing process. 

Adam Kamani, CEO of a Manchester-based property development company, explained:

“At a time when many estate agencies struggled to navigate the growing influence of social media on the property market, our deep understanding of data, marketing, and consumer needs has been instrumental in providing a new property portal to support both the customer and the agency. 

Kamani explained that this is what led them to focus on developing new tech avenues for an industry that is evolving at break-neck speed. 

“We wanted to expedite the way we buy and sell houses making finding your forever home fun and exciting; homebuyers can now look for a new home the same way they look for new partners: by swiping.”
