Technology-powered residential real estate solution giant, Redfin, is expanding its iBuyer into new markets, this time with Sacramento on its radar.

Now, homeowners in the Sacramento area can ask for cash offers for their home from RedfinNow, the company’s iBuying service.

Jason Aleem, vice president of RedfinNow, explained:

"Despite the pandemic, people still need to sell whether they are relocating for a job, making room for a growing family or downsizing for retirement in a new place.”

Redfin has advertised its iBuyer as the perfect solution for social distancing and minimizing in-person interaction.

"We're excited to be able to provide a safe and convenient way for people to get a competitive cash offer for their home, allowing them to sell on their timeline without having to worry about getting their home ready for sale or having strangers come through. In a competitive real estate market like Sacramento, RedfinNow is also a great solution for our brokerage customers who need the cash from their current home to buy their next home."

News surrounding iBuyers had been quiet while companies reworked such services to better serve a market struggling with the effects of the global pandemic. While many of these companies worried iBuying would diminish due to these uncertain times, they flourished. Redfin has taken this opportunity to continue spreading its own iBuyer into new markets.
